On Friday, the biggest wholesaler Amwins announced the acquisition of the number-four wholesaler: Worldwide Facilities.

Strategically, the deal looks like a win for Amwins. It offers the business increased scale, taking its premiums controlled just over $2bn higher to $24bn.
