Caesars sues insurers including AGCS, AIG, Chubb and Lloyd’s for $2bn

Caesars Entertainment, one of the largest casino operators in the US, is suing its entire tower of insurers, including Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, AIG, Chubb and 22 Lloyd’s syndicates for $2bn over an unpaid Covid-19 business interruption claim.

Caesars said it had paid $25mn in premiums for a “top of the line, all-risk policy” which incepted in May 2019.
