CNA on Tuesday said it has made “significant progress” in its efforts to recover from a cyber attack that hit the carrier last week, and that it has restored email access for staff.

In a note to brokers, the insurer said it was still working hard to bring systems back online, and that it has reached the data restoration stage in its response to the incident.
