Stephen Sills-led start-up insurer Bowhead Specialty has appointed Lainie Dorneker and Scott Culler as underwriting leaders at its casualty operation.

Dorneker joins the business as head of healthcare, where she will lead the build-out of a medical liability portfolio that specializes in long-term care, hospital professional liability and miscellaneous medical cover.
