It is fair to say that it is pretty much impossible to escape the mention of SPACs if you turn on a business news channel, visit a financial news website or start discussing the state of the capital markets with your colleagues. Wherever you go, there they are!

It’s like discussing tech stocks in the 1990s, mortgage quotes in the 2007/8s, and crypto in 2017. Two out of three did not end well, and the jury is still out on the third.
