The North American property and casualty insurance market has become “more orderly and predictable”, with rates in some lines of business approaching technical adequacy, according to Willis Towers Watson.

In the spring iteration of its marketplace realities report, the broker said upward pricing momentum in some lines of business is showing signs of slowing, even as rate rises in many cases remain the norm.
