Axis Insurance is ‘firing on all cylinders’: Benchimol

Axis CEO Albert Benchimol said today that the company’s insurance division is “firing on all cylinders”, with the unit making an underwriting profit of $39mn in Q1, as it grew gross written premiums (GWP) by 17% to $1.1bn.
