Axis has appointed Thomas Uribe as an assistant vice president for US excess casualty business at its primary insurance arm.

In the new role, his responsibilities include broadening relationships with distribution partners and expanding new business opportunities. He is based in Georgia and reports to regional manager for excess casualty, Britt Smith.
