AIG shareholder opposition grows to executive pay packages

AIG shareholder opposition to executive pay grew at this year’s investor meeting, with more than a quarter of votes cast against a resolution to approve the arrangements.

At the carrier’s annual general meeting (AGM) on Wednesday, almost 26% of votes cast were against the non-binding resolution to approve 2021 executive compensation, up from just 6% last year.
