Aon is looking for a buyer for its US pension actuarial business and its retiree exchange unit as it seeks to clear the way for the closure of its mega-merger with Willis Towers Watson, this publication can reveal.

Sources told this publication that Aon has appointed Moelis to sell the larger pension actuarial business unit, which has revenues in the region of $400mn and Ebitda of broadly $200mn.
