AJ Gallagher has acquired an insurance agency in Georgia, in a sign that the deal to acquire $3.6bn of assets from Willis Towers Watson has not slowed down the broker’s bolt-on acquisitions strategy.

Garner & Glover, an independent agency first founded in 1874, becomes part of Gallagher as a result of the deal.
