Telematics and analysis firm Cambridge Mobile Telematics (CMT) has acquired TrueMotion in a deal that unites the two major players in a growing industry.

CMT will now provide telematics services to 21 of the 25 largest auto insurers in the US, where it’s based, and across 20 countries including Canada, Germany, South Africa, Japan, Australia and the UK.
