Aon-Willis reportedly not permitted ‘last-rites’ meeting with DoJ

A report from news service CTFN claims Aon and Willis Towers Watson were not permitted a “last-rites” meeting prior to the Wednesday antitrust lawsuit filed by the Department of Justice (DoJ) in attempts to block the merger.

According to the M&A news outlet, a meeting took place between the brokers and the DoJ a week prior to the filing.
