The death toll in the collapse of a 12-story condominium tower in Surfside, Florida, rose to four, with 159 people still unaccounted for, on Friday morning.

Rescue crews continued to pick through the precarious heap of rubble left when half of the 130-unit tower pancaked to the ground without warning around 01:30 local time on Thursday.
