The Hartford has tapped Gretchen Thompson to run a series of specialty business lines including construction, inland marine, complex liability and media and entertainment.

California-based Thompson has been a senior executive in The Hartford’s western division since 2017, having worked at the carrier since 2005, when she joined from GE.
