India’s Digit Insurance secures $200mn fund raise, netting a $3.5bn valuation

InsurTech Digit Insurance has secured $200mn in funding from existing and new investors, hiking its total capital raising to $442mn since its formation just four years ago.

Existing investor Faering Capital, along with new funders such as Sequoia Capital India and IIFL Alternate Asset Managers, has stumped up the capital, which is now subject to approval from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India.
