Commercial rates show further signs of tapering in Q2: MarketScout

Commercial insurance rates rose by 5.9% in the second quarter, according to the latest data from MarketScout, a slowdown from the 7% gains in Q1.

Among the classes of business surveyed, umbrella and D&O premiums climbed the highest.

Umbrella premiums were up 11.6%, D&O increased 11%, commercial property rose 9.6%,
