Chubb excess and surplus unit Westchester has named Thomas McLaughlin executive vice president of its casualty practice.

McLaughlin will oversee product and business development, underwriting operations, and profit and loss performance for the practice. He will be based in Boston and report to Scott Meyer, senior vice president of Chubb Group and division president of Westchester.
