Large mental and respiratory illness A&H claims more than double: QBE

The frequency of accident and health (A&H) claims exceeding $200,000 has more than doubled in the past year, due to a rise in claims activity for mental and respiratory illnesses, according to a report by QBE.

The report, which included policies written between Q1 2019 and Q2 2020, also found fewer claims for neoplasms and circulatory system claims.
