Analysts bullish on Aon after merger cancellation

Equity analysts are optimistic about the trajectory of Aon’s share price, following the surprise decision to scrap the $30bn merger with Willis Towers Watson.

Wells Fargo analyst Elyse Greenspan said that the valuation gap between Aon and Marsh McLennan “should dissolve” as the market goes back to assessing Aon as a standalone entity.
