Case tells clients Willis merger work ‘galvanized’ Aon team

Aon CEO Greg Case has told clients Aon will benefit from the work undertaken on the failed merger with Willis Towers Watson because the process “galvanized” Aon employees.

Case made the comments in a letter to Aon clients explaining the rationale for aborting the Willis Towers Watson combination, which he said was down to “poor timing and factors ultimately outside our control”.
