Horace Mann plans to focus its rate adjustments on its auto and property businesses, where the carrier has experienced inflationary pressures, CEO Marita Zuraitis told analysts on Tuesday.

The education-focused carrier said during a conference call following its second-quarter earnings release that rising inflation could also impact interest rates, which could fuel its investment income in the future.
