PartnerRe’s North America head of professional lines underwriting Brian Sabia has resigned from his role, and will be taking up a new post as the chief underwriting officer for Toa Re’s US outfit, this publication has learned.

Sabia is replacing Toa’s previous underwriting head, Jerry Farrell, who had been in the post since 2010, and who’s new role with the reinsurer wasn’t immediately clear.
