QBE Re has named industry veteran Tracey Gibbons to head its Bermuda office as part of what it dubbed a “major expansion” of its Hamilton operations.

Gibbons brings more than 30 years of experience to the role, most recently as senior vice president of SiriusPoint, a position she took after Third Point Re merged with Sirius earlier this year.
