Marsh McLennan Agency, the broker’s middle-market agency unit, has acquired Vaaler Insurance, a third-generation family-owned business and one of the largest independent agencies in North Dakota, for an undisclosed sum.

Vaaler, founded in 1947, offers business insurance, employee health and benefits and personal lines, specializing in the construction, education and healthcare industries.
