Argo to test market appetite for Lloyd's businesses with Syndicate 1200 process

Argo has bowed to logic and placed its primary Lloyd's insurance business up for sale after resisting the move for some time during the earlier stages of its turnaround, it is understood.

The sale of Argo's managing agency and Syndicate 1200 would buttress CEO Kevin Rehnberg's argument that the business should be seen as a US specialty insurance franchise.
