Reinsurers play a key role in getting start-ups off the ground with balance sheet support, but real collaboration is missing, said SiriusPoint’s CEO Sid Sankaran.

To the executive, it has been an arm's length relationship so far which does not really add value, and his view is that real collaboration is missing between the two industries.
