Insurance agents push for NFIP risk-rating delay

The National Association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) has urged the Federal Emergency Management Agency (Fema) to delay the implementation of the National Flood Insurance Program’s (NFIP) new risk-rating methodology.

The PIA said Risk Rating 2.0 (RR2.0), due to go live on October 1, is not ready for its scheduled implementation.
