Beazley has appointed Bob Quane from Axis Capital to work as chief underwriting officer in the latest senior management change since Adrian Cox was named CEO.

In an unusual move for the London-based business, Quane will be headquartered in New York, which Cox said underlined the company’s commitment to grow in the US market.
