Willis: Companies on ‘unprecedented M&A spree’ as economy bounces back

Global M&A activity for the third quarter this year is the second highest recorded for that period, with a chance that the full year could be the busiest ever, according to Willis Towers Watson.

The intermediary’s Quarterly Deal Performance Monitor (QDPM) found that there were 264 deals over $100mn in value during Q3 2021, more than double that of the same period last year.
