Epic moves McInnis to chief sales officer
Retail P&C firm Epic Brokers has named Crawford McInnis its new chief sales officer, the company said.
McInnis will report to Phillip Moyles, Epic’s chief growth officer.
In his new role, McInnis will lead the broker’s national sales efforts and will collaborate with regional sales leaders across the organization.
The executive joined the firm in 2014, as a managing principal for Epic as the company expanded into the Alabama market.
He previously served as an executive vice president at Cobbs Allen, according to his LinkedIn profile.
McInnis said: “I am honored to be asked to take on this role to help Epic achieve further organizational and sales excellence. I look forward to continuing out evolution as a sales culture.”
Epic has announced a series of senior management hires in recent months.
In October, the firm hired Pure’s Dan Nieves as its new vice president and private client adviser to oversee the company’s relationship development in the private client business segment.
In August, the brokerage hired Peter Marshall, an executive from DeWitt Stern, as managing principal for its entertainment and sports practice, and Adam Terpstra, from Leavitt Group, as principal focusing on clients in the construction sector.
Earlier this year, the company hired former Beecher Carlson senior vice president Traci Marquez to its risk management team as part of the retail broker’s strategy to expand its offering to more complex clients.
