Eos Venture Partners founding partner Carl Bauer-Schlichtegroll said that investors looking to take InsurTechs public are now going through an “educational adjustment”, as the cohort of InsurTech start-ups that debuted at high valuations struggled to show profits.

In an interview with Inside P&C, Bauer-Schlichtegroll said that early on, InsurTechs in the IPO market attracted a lot of technology investors who did not initially understand the complexities of the insurance market.
