Chaucer’s Murphy joins WKFC to launch London-based US casualty program

Chaucer head of US general liability and excess Joe Murphy and his team have left the firm to join Ryan Specialty Group-owned MGA WKFC, where he will lead a new US casualty program from London, this publication understands.

The appetite for the WKFC program is understood to be similar to Chaucer’s but broader.

Sources have indicated that the program will underwrite construction, product liability, and life science business, though further restrictions on appetite were not immediately clear.
