The executive joins McGriff after 15 years at WTW, where he held various roles and until recently served as senior vice president in Minnesota.
Prior to joining WTW, Lundin worked for over four years at Marsh as vice president, first at the firm’s Washington offices, and from 2003 to 2006 based in Minneapolis.
From 1996 to June 2002, the executive worked at Marsh McLennan Agency, formerly known as Rutherford, based in Alexandria, Virginia.
Commenting on the appointment, McGriff energy practice leader Patrick Maguire said: “We are excited to continue to expand our energy team in the Midwest.”
“Kevin’s industry experience, deep understanding of the evolving risk landscape, and far-reaching industry relationships will prove beneficial to our growing client base,” he added.
Lundin’s appointment is the latest in a series of management changes that McGriff has announced in recent weeks.
Last week, the retailer named Keith Scroggins to the newly created role of chief administrative officer (CAO) overseeing the firm’s administrative services, business systems, market conduct, marketing and communications, real estate and facilities, training and development.
In November, the company reshuffled its transportation and environmental practices with the recruitment of marine and logistics expert Andy Lewis and environmental executive Daniel Carille.
Earlier that month, the firm hired Tony Nicholas as a senior vice president and producer in its Houston-based energy and marine division.
