James River has retained an investment bank to sell its misfiring reinsurance business as new CEO Frank D’Orazio rolls out the next stage of his turnaround plans, this publication can reveal.

Sources said TigerRisk Capital Markets & Advisory has a mandate to find a buyer for JRG Reinsurance Company, the Bermuda-based firm that writes its casualty treaty heavy book.
