The stock of US-focused specialty insurer Argo is down more than 19% since late Tuesday afternoon, following the news that the company expects to take a reserve charge of up to $140mn when it reports fourth-quarter results.
The shares have lost nearly 20% of their value, as they were trading at $45.56 per share late Wednesday afternoon.
