US commercial insurance prices rose by around 7% year on year during the fourth quarter, with professional liability lines registering the largest increase in the period, according to WTW’s latest Commercial Lines Insurance Pricing Survey (Clips).

Commercial lines rates remained unchanged at 7% from the third quarter and slightly down from the 8% registered in the first two quarters of 2021.
