QBE North America and its recently hired casualty team have denied the allegations by Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) that the executives misappropriated confidential information and trade secrets after moving from BHSI to QBE in late April.

QBE NA and the casualty unit filed their answers late last week denying any misconduct and demanded a trial by jury in the Southern District of New York court.
