The first tropical storm of the season, Alex, is not forecast to make landfall in Bermuda after it drenched Florida in 15 inches of rain and caused three deaths in Cuba.

Alex is roughly 550 miles west of Bermuda and moving at 28 mph. Tropical storm conditions are expected throughout the rest of the day.
