US commercial lines price increases decelerate to 6% YoY in Q1 2022: WTW

US commercial insurance prices rose by around 6% year on year during the first quarter of 2022, with cyber booking the largest increase in the period, according to WTW’s latest Commercial Lines Insurance Pricing Survey (Clips).

Q1 marked a deceleration from the last quarter of 2021, when commercial lines rates increased around 7% from the same period of 2020.
