Centauri and Bankers Insurance sent notices to their agents in mid-June announcing that they have suspended writing certain new business in Florida, this publication has learned.

Applied Underwriters, which acquired Centauri in February 2021, said the pause covered both personal and commercial lines and reflected constraints on growth.
