Economic losses from US, Canada storms to reach ‘hundreds of millions’: Aon

Economic losses from severe convective storms and flash flooding throughout the past week across the US and Canada are “minimally estimated into the hundreds of millions, though likely higher”, according to Aon’s weekly cat report.

Bouts of severe weather resulted in damaging winds across the Midwest, Ohio Valley, Northeast and southern Canada from July 23–25.
