Moody’s issues new Fidelis ratings after news of restructure

Ratings agency Moody’s has assigned Fidelis and its key (re)insurance subsidiaries with new ratings and a stable outlook, in a belief the business will maintain strong capital levels and consistent underwriting performance in the wake of its radical restructure.

The carrier’s key (re)insurance operating subsidiaries – Fidelis Insurance Bermuda Ltd, Fidelis Underwriting Ltd and Fidelis Insurance Ireland DAC – have all been assigned an A3 insurance financial-strength rating.
