Coalition has recruited Indigo’s Jim Young as the company’s first-ever CFO and WR Berkley’s John Littzi as general counsel and added Julie Richardson to its board.

The appointments follow a $250mn fundraise in July. Coalition was given a private valuation of $5bn, a record high figure for InsurTechs, against a turbulent market where VC appetite for the sector is cooling down to pre-pandemic levels.
