AIG chairman and CEO Peter Zaffino has said that his company’s strategy to move high-net-worth property homeowners coverage to the non-admitted market in certain states is paying off, as gross wildfire PMLs are down 35% to 40% since December 2021.

“We will continue to provide coverage to our clients in the US utilizing a hybrid model of non-admitted and admitted products in some states and admitted-only products in other states,” he told analysts during the company’s second quarter conference...
