AM Best has downgraded Erie Insurance Group’s long-term issuer credit rating to “aa-” from “aa” but maintained its financial strength rating at “A+”.

It also revised the outlook of the long-term ICR to “stable” from “negative”. The financial strength rating outlook remained at “stable”.
