Venture capital investors expect an uptick in M&A activity for InsurTechs as the fundraising environment becomes tougher, according to panelists at a roundtable hosted by early-stage tech-fund Omers Ventures.

Kate Crespo, a managing director at FT Partners, noted that while investors are being more cautious this year, “we are hearing a lot of discussions about M&A, and we are involved in a lot more M&A”.
