Hippo has announced plans to cut around 10% of its workforce in a bid to improve efficiency at the company amid challenging market conditions for InsurTechs.

The company said in a filing that it would terminate the employment of around 70 employees, with those most impacted to be notified by the end of today and their eliminations effective from tomorrow.
