KAP survey finds 56% of independent agencies interested in selling

Of polled US independent agencies, 47% are “somewhat” interested in selling their business, while 9% are “very interested,” according to a recent survey by brokerage platform Keystone Agency Partners (KAP).

The survey’s results show that 26% of independent agencies have considered selling over the last year and that larger intermediaries are more likely (50%) to consider a deal.
