Insurers challenge Boy Scouts $2.5bn amended bankruptcy settlement

Several insurers have appealed the $2.5bn abuse settlement plan reached in the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) bankruptcy case.

The carriers challenging the amended plan, which was approved by a Delaware bankruptcy judge earlier this month, include AIG’s Lexington Insurance, Travelers, Allianz Global Risks, Liberty Mutual, GenStar, Munich Re, Argo and Old Republic, among others.
